 Dr. Kokonas graduated with Honours from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry in 1997 and from the Faculty of Science (Honours) in 1993. Throughout her educational career, Dr. Kokonas was highly promoted for her academic excellence with numerous awards and distinctions.
Since graduating, Dr. Kokonas has practiced dentistry in Mississauga and Orangeville and opened her own practice in 1998. She places a strong emphasis on providing preventive dentistry, high quality comprehensive care, and using the best quality of materials along with the lastest techniques in a friendly, kind, relaxing atmoshere.
To aid in diagnosis, treatment planning, case presentation and treatment, Dr. Kokonas uses the lastest in dental technology, including: computerized consultation illustrations, intra oral cameras and digital photography, Cad/Cam Restorations, Lasers, Zoom Whitening, Invisalign Invisible Braces, Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Kokonas belongs to various study clubs and continues her dental education by regularly attending the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and The Scottsdale Centre for Dentistry. Dr. Kokonas is also affiliated with The Spear Institute Study Club, Ontario Dental Association, and The Halton-Peel Dental Association.
Dr. Kokonas enjoys long walks and spending time with her husband, George, and son, Christian.
