 PRR's require minimal tooth preparation of the deep fissure and pits or the need to remove incipient decay or for areas with developmental defects. The prepared area is filled with a composite resin prior to the application of sealant material to the exposed pit or fissure.
Objectives: The restoration should remain intact and cover all involved and/or susceptible areas with no indence of decay beneath or around the margin of the restoration. |
